6 Starting Points Of Many Great Fortunes

Do you ever wonder how successful people got to where they are? What was it that Bill Gates or Donald Trump started doing that led them to becoming billionaires?

Of course, there isn’t a simple answer. They probably did lots of things that got them to where they are today. However, if you study enough successful people, you will find that many of them started out very similarly. They had unique qualities that spurred them on to greatness.

Don’t think that you are any different! You could be just as successful and just as wealthy as anybody else on this planet if you put enough energy into it.

What I have here is what Brian Tracy, author and business consultant, believes is the starting point of many great fortunes. If you want to know how some people become extraordinarily wealthy, it likely starts with one or more of these six things:

1. Set a goal and back it with a burning desire.

Start with a goal. It doesn’t matter how big it is! Once you have one, do something every day that inches you closer and closer to that goal.

If you get closer to reaching that goal just a little bit every single day, you won’t believe how far you will go in the course of a few years.

Only choose a goal that you have a burning desire to achieve. If the desire isn’t there, your energy will run at and you will quit before you get there.

But if the desire is there, you will move passed everybody else that is wanting the same thing as you and you will do whatever it takes to become successful.

2. Accumulate capital with a regular savings program.

No matter what you do. No matter how much money you make. You can become wealthy if you properly save the money that you earn.

Start right now by saving 10% of everything that you earn.

Put all of that savings into a proper investment. My suggestion would be to learn more about index funds. They can likely earn you 9-10% over the long term.

With 30-40 years of saving, you can easily be a multimillionaire by the time you retire.

3. Do more than you are paid for and learn while you earn.

Outwork everybody around you. And learn everything about your company and what would help them make more money. In other words…

Make yourself extremely valuable to them. The more devastating it would be for them to lose you, the more money you are going to make.

If the janitor quits, your company could get someone to replace him within a day and everything would be back to normal.

But if the CEO quits, it might take months, if not years, to find someone who can make the company as much money as the former CEO did.

Become so irreplaceable that they have to pay you six or seven figures to make sure you don’t go anywhere else!

4. Search for problems unsolved, needs unmet, and products or services you can supply of high quality and at reasonable prices.

If your looking for a new business idea, read the line above a few times.

Find something, a product, that will help solve people’s needs. The more people want and have to have your product, the more profitable it is going to be.

Always be on the look out for a new business idea. What can you do to make current products better?

5. Remain flexible and learn everything you can.

Remaining flexible means willing to change if needed. Don’t be afraid of trying something completely different.

Sure you might fail. But you have a much better chance of succeeding if you try doing something different instead of doing something safe.

Safe is boring. Don’t ever forget that.

Also, find something you like and learn more about it each and every day. Become the best in the world at something.

That sounds nice doesn’t it? You being the best in the world at something! Find out what you want to be the best in the world at. And learn everything possible about that one particular thing until you truly are the best.

Great fortunes come much faster if you know a lot about a little compared to knowing a little about a lot.

6. Launch your goals with courage and persistence. Develop complete faith in your ability to succeed.

Confidence is in short supply in this world. Even if you are semi-successful, you probably lose confidence from time to time.

Even if you have to pretend at first, become extremely confident in whatever you do.

I mean why not? You could be extremely timid or extremely confident. I think you and I both know which one is the better way to go!

Understand that you are just as capable of being successful as anybody else. In fact, you will be much more likely if you just have confidence in yourself.

I know you can do it and I’ve never even met you!

Remember these six things. When going from zero to a million dollars, it usually starts with one of them. It’s going to be a long journey but it will happen if you just stick with it. You just need to get started!

Don’t ever lose faith. Be confident in yourself and your abilities. Work hard. Save money. And your success will not be a matter of if, but a matter of when.
