What Is The Carnegie Secret?
If you are at this page, I am assuming that you have read Think and Grow Rich. You’re probably wondering now what is the Carnegie Secret being described in the beginning of the book. The secret, as stated, is mentioned throughout the book. You probably read the book and had several guesses as to what it may be. And chances are that all of your guesses were wrong! So what is the Carnegie Secret? It is, in fact, mentioned frequently. It’s even mentioned in the title. Think And Grow Rich. The Carnegie Secret is thought! Feeling a little disappointed? I know I was when I first figured out what the Carnegie Secret was. But then I went and read Think And Grow Rich again, I was completely amazed! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t figured out what the secret was sooner! It’s literally spread out through the entire book. In case you don’t believe me, here are some lines from the book that give away the secret. Starting with the most obvious one which is located towards the beginning of the book… “It was what he THOUGHT that counted. If the significance of this statement could be conveyed to the person who reads it, there would be no need for the remainder of this book.” “An intangible impulse of thought can be ‘transmuted’ into it’s physical counterpart by the application of known principles. Barnes literally thought himself into a partnership with the great Edison. He thought himself into a fortune.” “Darby tried to Dig And Grow Rich, but more gold has been mined from the human brain than has ever been taken from the Earth.” “All thoughts which have been emotionalized and mixed with faith begin immediately to translate themselves into their physical equivalent or counterpart.” “Riches begin in the form of thought.” “The object is, naturally, to acquire the ability to transmute the intangible thought impulse of desire into it’s physical counterpart – money.” “Read, THINK, and meditate as you read. Soon the entire subject will unfold, and then you will see it in perspective. For now, you are seeing the detail of the individual chapters.” “Every person who has accumulated a great fortune has recognized the existence of this stream of life. It consists of one’s THINKING PROCESS.” So, what do you think now? I encourage you to go back and reread Think And Grow Rich again with your newfound knowledge. It will give you a whole new appreciation for the book. If you notice, all of the chapters in the book deal with thought in some way. Thought is directly or indirectly mentioned in each one. Now that you have the secret, put it to use! Napoleon Hill mentions several times that you need a plan and a burning desire for it’s achievement. Find something that you want really badly. Think hard about a plan that will turn your desire into its physical equivalent. Then use the power of thought to make it happen! Like what you read?
